Aaron Langman has run Hampstead Health, one of South Australia’s largest GP practices, for over 20 years. He did not find this problem from the outside. He lived it.
At Hampstead, the team knew something was off with care plan reviews. Hundreds of patients were eligible and overdue, but they were not coming in. Not because they did not want to. Because nobody was reaching out to them consistently enough to make it happen. Reception was stretched, the lists were long, and the follow-through was patchy at best.
So Aaron built Coda. First for his own clinic. Then for everyone else’s.
Something that would read the practice management software already in use, flag every overdue patient automatically, follow up without relying on someone remembering to, and hand reception a clear, prioritised list of who still needed a call.
When it was applied to care plan reviews at Hampstead, the results were immediate. Monthly reviews went from 485 to 1,042. Revenue more than doubled. But more importantly, patients who had been quietly missing out on their care were finally being seen.
That is why Coda exists beyond Hampstead today. To give every practice the system that makes sure no patient is forgotten and no opportunity is missed, without adding headcount or complexity.
